Michael D. Munn

Michael D. Munn returned to his hospitality roots in May 2022 as Community Engagement Liaison at Meet Boston following a brief hiatus. In this role, he collaborates with community partners, local businesses, and internal teams to build partnerships and initiatives that enhance the visitor experience. Michael brings more than 17 years of leadership experience from the Boston Convention Marketing Center, where he served as Chief of Staff and Director of Business Development. He began his career at The Interface Group, launching a professional journey that spans more than 35 years. There, he played a key role in recruiting international corporations and government-sponsored joint ventures to participate in the information technology industry’s most successful events in the U.S. His work helped COMDEX earn U.S. Department of Commerce International Buyer Program certification. A lifelong Bostonian, Michael is passionate about connecting people and showcasing the city’s history, diversity, and hospitality.
