Chef is no stranger to competition. After playing college football at South Carolina State University, he took his competitive spirit and love for food to the city of Boston, landing his dream opportunity as the Executive Chef of


Hunter's Kitchen & Bar in 2021 Chef Lambert made his Food Network debut in 2022 beating Bobby Flay with his perfectly spiced, Gumbo that Hunter's Kitchen & Bar still serves everyday!


Chef Lambert also competed on the Food Network's Chopped this year - advancing to the final round and making a dish that the judges said “satisfied 9 cravings”


Most recently, Chef and his team won the Boston Magazine Best Of award for having the Best Brunch in the city!


At Hunter's, Chef Lambert or "Lambo" as his friends call him, feature southern inspired dishes like chicken and dumplings with shaved black truffle, their signature fried chicken and waffles with a cheddar liege waffle, skillet cornbread and smoked meats including brisket and St. Louis ribs and of course, the Gumbo.


Chef Lambert joined the Broadway Restaurant Group in 2017 under the leadership and expertise of Culinary Director Chef Nicholas Dixon. Prior to joining the Broadway Restaurant Group, Chef Lambert worked at Scampo under James Beard Winning Chef and Restaurateur, Lydia Shire at the Liberty Hotel.


Chef Lambo has always loved cooking since Day 1 and has been very passionate about providing memorable dining experiences and coming up with unique recipes for as long as he can remember. Chef has climbed up the ranks and cut his teeth under some of the best chefs in the city of Boston despite not attending culinary school. Chef Lambert has risen to the occasion at every opportunity and is a product of hard work and dedication


In his free time, you can find him rooting for the hometown team, the New England Patriots, watching College Football, walking his Siberian Husky, Max or cooking for friends & family
