Carlos Bueno

Carlos Bueno is one of Boston hospitality’s most connected and recognizable leaders, known for helping shape the city’s luxury and social landscape. As General Manager of Raffles Boston—the only Raffles Hotels & Resorts property in North America—he oversees one of the city’s most high-profile hotels, including its legendary Raffles Butler Service. A proud Dominican hospitality leader who has called Boston home for more than a decade, Carlos is deeply embedded in the city’s business, tourism, and cultural communities. 

Carlos joined Raffles Boston in March 2025, bringing more than 25 years of luxury hospitality experience, with leadership roles at Boston Harbor Hotel, Fairmont Copley Plaza, and most recently The Newbury Boston. Beyond the hotel walls, he is an active civic and industry leader, currently serving as Chair of the Back Bay Association, Vice Chair of the Massachusetts Lodging Association, and on the boards of Meet Boston’s Tourism Destination Marketing Districts and Amplify LatinX. 

Carlos began his career in food and beverage, with early experience at The Plaza Hotel, Waldorf Astoria New York, and Four Seasons Hotel New York, before transitioning into hotel operations and executive leadership. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, he blends classic hospitality instincts with a modern understanding of Boston’s evolving tourism scene.
