Jacqueline Church

Owner & Operator,
Boston Chinatown Tours

Founder,
FAN Chinatown

From her start at Northeastern Law School, Jacqueline has sought ways to build community, advocacy is in her bones. Some years, and careers, later she was invited to be a freelance tour guide in Chinatown. She quickly realized that she occupies a unique insider-outsider position. From this vantage point she continually seeks to engage guests in a relationship that is more about connecting than extracting. Sharing this unique history, introducing guests to the resilience and resourcefulness of our Chinatown has become a mission more than a vocation. Partnering with Meet Boston, she’s been able to expand our messaging bringing writers from around the world. As a freelance writer, she’s shared Chinatown’s struggles during the dual pandemic of COVID and AAPI hate crimes, in Food & Wine Magazine, in a documentary film and more.
